Benefits should reduce friction in your life, not add complexity. We offer a focused set of meaningful benefits rather than a long list of things nobody uses.

Time Off

Flexible PTO

We don’t track vacation days. Take the time you need. The only rules:

  1. Minimum 15 days off per year - yes, a minimum. We mean it.
  2. Tell your team - at least 1 week notice for a week+ off, 2 days notice for shorter breaks
  3. Set up handoffs - make sure nothing blocks on you while you’re gone
  4. Actually disconnect - don’t check Slack on vacation

Company-Wide Breaks

  • Winter break - office closed last week of December
  • Summer Friday - half-days every Friday in July and August

Parental Leave

  • Primary caregiver - 16 weeks fully paid
  • Secondary caregiver - 8 weeks fully paid
  • Flexible return - part-time ramp-up period available

Sick Leave

Take the time you need. No doctor’s notes, no cap. If you’re sick, rest.

Equipment & Setup

For Everyone

  • Laptop - MacBook Pro (or equivalent) refreshed every 3 years
  • Monitor - up to $800 for an external display
  • Home office budget - $1,500 one-time setup budget (desk, chair, peripherals)
  • Coworking - $300/month coworking space stipend for remote employees

For Engineers

  • GitHub Copilot - paid
  • Cursor Pro - paid
  • Cloud credits - $100/month for personal projects and learning

Learning & Development

  • Book budget - unlimited (just buy it, no approval needed)
  • Conference budget - $2,500/year for conferences, workshops, or courses
  • Learning time - 4 hours/week of work time can be used for learning (reading, courses, side projects that build relevant skills)

What We Don’t Offer

  • No “unlimited PTO” without a minimum (that just means “no PTO”)

We’d rather put money into things that materially improve your life than performative perks.
